Overview
We are seeking Senior and Principal AI Engineers to join a dynamic team focused on delivering impactful AI solutions for a Tier-1 financial institution. The successful candidates will work directly with business stakeholders to design, build, and integrate AI initiatives, ensuring seamless deployment into production environments. These hands-on roles require not only technical expertise but also the ability to navigate complex governance and approval processes within a major banking infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of AI solutions, engaging with business stakeholders to define requirements and make architectural decisions.
- Develop and write production-quality Python code to build and implement AI models.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with enterprise governance processes, including model risk validation and production approval.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate AI solutions into the existing technology framework.
- Construct and evaluate data pipelines, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement in model performance.
- Facilitate the delivery of AI recommendations that enhance trading decisions based on client behavior and market predictions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of commercial engineering or data science experience, with a focus on deploying AI/ML systems into production for Principal role.
- 5+ years of hands-on delivery experience in AI engineering for Senior Consultant role.
- Strong Python development skills and experience with machine learning model implementation, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Proven track record navigating enterprise governance processes for AI deployment, particularly in regulated environments.
- Experience with large language models (LLMs), agentic frameworks, and AI development tools such as Windsurf, Claude, and Devin.
- Familiarity with capital markets and trading environments, including execution and algorithmic trading systems is desirable.
