Overview
As a Full Stack Engineer on the Engage team, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing both frontend and backend functionalities for web and app platforms. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to create innovative features that leverage AI technologies, while working a hybrid schedule consisting of two days on-site and the remainder remote.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing and optimizing user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks and Agentic AI methodologies.
- Help build, maintain, and scale backend services, including push notification infrastructure and API connectivity.
- Translate product requirements and design mockups into fully functioning, responsive, and accessible features.
- Deliver clean, testable, and maintainable code primarily developed by AI agents, participating in code reviews for quality assurance.
- Monitor system health, address bugs, and ensure high performance through SLIs and SLOs.
- Advocate for a collaborative work environment, participating in agile ceremonies and reducing technical debt.
- Meet agreed timescales for feature delivery while ensuring high quality of code.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack, frontend, or backend web development.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React or Vue.js, along with HTML and CSS.
- Experience with server-side programming (Java or Java derived frameworks) and API development (REST or GraphQL).
- Direct experience deploying features using Agentic AI technologies.
- Proficient in AWS stack including deployment tools like CloudFormation.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and strong communication skills in English.
