Overview
We are seeking an experienced C#/.NET Application Developer for a long-term software development project within a highly technical and engineering-focused environment. This hybrid role will involve the ongoing development and enhancement of Windows desktop applications that are part of an extensive software and technology platform, requiring collaboration with a project team to deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop C#/.NET applications, particularly using WPF for desktop environments.
- Enhance existing software and implement new functionalities.
- Conduct automated and integration testing to ensure software quality.
- Perform code reviews and manage pull requests within the team.
- Investigate and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications.
- Collaborate within an Agile development environment to support continuous improvement.
- Assist in software releases and related DevOps activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in C#/.NET application development.
- Strong knowledge of WPF for desktop application development.
- Experience in automated and integration testing practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Experience in resolving complex software issues efficiently.
- Background in scientific instrumentation or industrial automation is a plus, but not essential.
