Overview
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team on an outside IR35 contract basis. The successful candidate will focus on enhancing our AWS platform through software development, utilizing tools like Terraform and various AWS services. Collaboration within an agile team will be essential as you tackle complex platform challenges and contribute to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AWS platform solutions using Python or Node.js.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for automation.
- Manage AWS services including ECS, Lambda, and IAM for platform development.
- Ensure cloud security by following best practices and authentication protocols.
- Collaborate with agile teams on complex platform challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement through effective use of CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in weekly on-site meetings to align with team objectives.
Requirements
- Proven software development experience in Python or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFront.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Understanding of cloud security architecture and protocols like OIDC.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
