Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Developer to join a large-scale Cloud Transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract basis. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with an Architecture Team to modernize legacy API and integration platforms, transitioning on-premise infrastructures to the Azure cloud. Your contributions will be critical in developing cloud-native solutions and ensuring the performance and security of applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop performant, public-facing REST APIs and system integrations in Azure.
- Document APIs to OpenAPI 3.x standards.
- Review legacy implementations and build modern replacements in collaboration with the architecture team.
- Write and maintain automated test cases using Reqnroll, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, design workshops, and story elaboration.
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance across all solutions.
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on C# and .NET Core experience across multiple projects.
- Experience in Azure development, including Functions, Service Bus, CosmosDB, and Azure SQL.
- Proficient in RESTful API development and OpenAPI 3.x/Swagger documentation.
- Proven experience in automated testing using XUnit and Specflow or Reqnroll.
- Knowledge of Auth0 or equivalent authentication and authorization solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps practices.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
