Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide a small team of developers in delivering high-quality software solutions. This fully remote position focuses on leveraging your strong expertise in Python and Django, along with substantial experience in both AWS and Azure. You will work closely with a Technical Architect to ensure the architectural direction aligns with project goals, contributing to an 8-month contract with a government client.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of developers in project delivery.
- Collaborate with a Technical Architect for architectural oversight.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding and development.
- Implement solutions using Python and Django.
- Oversee deployment and integration using both AWS and Azure.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to the team.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain a focus on quality and compliance standards required by the government client.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Python and Django development.
- Hands-on skills with both AWS and Azure platforms.
- Previous experience in a Technical Lead role.
- Active SC Clearance or eligibility for SC clearance.
- Familiarity with GCP is a plus.
- Experience working within the UK Government or Public Sector is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.
