Overview
The BI Developer will be responsible for creating and enhancing reporting and data modeling solutions to support finance and operational insights in a dynamic environment. Working closely with various stakeholders, the developer will deliver impactful Power BI reports and analyses that aid in decision-making for product launches and operational investigations. The role involves multitasking across various short projects and requires adaptability to a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Power BI reporting and data models to support finance and operational insight.
- Build and maintain data models from scratch and from existing structured tables.
- Create clear, functional dashboards and visualisations.
- Analyse the performance of new product or payment launches.
- Support investigations across stock, warehousing, and finance operations.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate quickly.
- Operate across a mix of short, ad-hoc projects in a high-change environment.
Requirements
- Strong experience with SQL, Power BI, and Databricks.
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused BI environment.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Familiarity with Python is a plus.
