Overview
The Business Analyst will join a dedicated GIS and Data team responsible for delivering integrated spatial solutions within a digital transformation initiative. This remote role focuses on coordinating GIS and digital projects, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting Agile methodologies. The Business Analyst will ensure that business needs are translated into actionable solutions, promoting effective collaboration across technical teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support the oversight and coordination of GIS and data projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Maintain effective project planning, prioritization, and delivery.
- Facilitate Agile project delivery and promote the use of Azure DevOps.
- Document business and customer requirements clearly.
- Ensure that requirements are understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to program-level planning, reporting, and communications.
- Drive continuous improvement in project and delivery processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT, digital, or technology project delivery.
- Strong capability in business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, APM PMQ).
- Excellent organisational skills and time management capabilities.
- Confident communication skills for translating complex requirements.
- Experience working collaboratively across teams and with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with GIS technologies and the Esri suite of applications is desirable.
- Experience using Azure DevOps in a project environment.
