Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a focus on media technology to join a transformation programme for a leading media organization. The role will involve collaborating with technology, production, and operational teams to analyze current post-production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in media asset management using new technologies such as cloud-based workflows and AI tooling. The contractor will play a key role in defining requirements, producing documentation, and supporting proofs of concept as part of a major initiative to enhance media operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyse current post-production processes, systems, and workflows.
- Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce process maps, stakeholder analysis, and data flow documentation.
- Define and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop user stories and detailed acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, architects, engineers, and operational teams.
- Support proofs of concept and technology pilots.
- Assist in defining future target operating models and assessing potential efficiencies.
Requirements
- Strong Business Analysis experience within media, broadcast, production, or post-production.
- Understanding of Media Asset Management (MAM).
- Knowledge of post-production workflows including video/audio transfer, transcoding, delivery, and archiving.
- Experience in producing functional and non-functional requirements.
- Proficiency in user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritisation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.
- Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud technology or AI solutions is beneficial.
