Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in ERP systems to drive successful implementation and enhancement projects. The contractor will collaborate closely with external integration partners to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and support continuous improvement initiatives post-go-live. This role requires a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies and effective stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements for ERP implementations and enhancements.
- Facilitate workshops to map current processes (As-Is) and desired future states (To-Be).
- Conduct gap analysis and develop Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Manage product backlogs and assist in defining estimates using Story Points.
- Evaluate third-party solutions and support ongoing system enhancements.
- Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test-case review and defect triage.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for integration partners.
- Utilize tools such as Jira, Microsoft Planner, and Trello to manage tasks and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst focusing on ERP implementations.
- Strong understanding of GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets in an ERP environment.
- Experience in Agile methodologies for requirements gathering and backlog management.
- Skilled in process mapping and gap analysis techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Microsoft Planner, Trello, and Visio/Lucidchart.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective negotiations.
- Experience in system testing and UAT processes, including defect management.
