Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a 6-month contract role focused on delivering complex business change and technology initiatives within regulated environments. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations. This role requires a strong capability in facilitating workshops and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements, supported by effective stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements from various stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to elicit requirements.
- Document and validate requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with business objectives.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across business, operational, compliance, risk, and technology teams.
- Identify process pain points and define effective solutions for improvement.
- Support requirements through the delivery lifecycle, from discovery to implementation and testing.
- Conduct gap and impact analyses to understand dependencies and risks.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of requirements gathering, documentation, and validation processes.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement at all levels, including C-level executives.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Proficient in process mapping and business process analysis techniques.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work with ambiguity.
