Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a dynamic team within the financial industry, focusing specifically on the Equity Derivatives workstream. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Snowflake data engineering team, actively engaging in requirements gathering and driving decisions on backlog creation and solution design. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work autonomously within a small, fast-paced team.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and engage with stakeholders for the Equity Derivatives workstream.
- Write and prioritize tickets, user stories, and backlog items.
- Support testing and QA throughout the delivery process.
- Take ownership of governance, backlog creation, and solution design decisions.
- Ensure deliverables integrate seamlessly into the TradeAgent platform and operating model.
- Work independently and drive initiatives forward in a lean team environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets or financial services.
- Solid experience in OTC trade processing.
- Strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives products or broader derivatives experience.
- Proven ability to write clear requirements, tickets, and user stories while supporting testing/QA.
- Comfort working in a lean team setting with minimal supervision.
