Overview
As a Contract Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in a high-impact healthcare digital transformation programme, building scalable AWS data pipelines and infrastructure to support a critical healthcare digital platform. Collaborating with a team, you will utilize modern cloud technologies to contribute to a project that significantly impacts health services. This fully remote position lasts for 6 months and is designed for an individual passionate about applying their technical expertise in a meaningful context.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable AWS data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
- Develop data processing solutions using AWS services including Athena, Glue, and Aurora.
- Implement data transformation processes and ensure data integrity.
- Analyze and optimize data workflows for performance.
- Support the deployment of analytics solutions in a secure environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on AWS.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Proficient in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with AWS services such as Athena, Glue, and Aurora.
- Familiarity with Palantir and Foundry is a plus.
- Knowledge of secure data handling practices in complex environments.
