Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Reporting Manager to lead the development and governance of key performance indicators (KPIs) in a business reporting environment. In this hybrid role, the candidate will focus on enhancing data integrity and performance insights while collaborating across various functions, including operational and corporate teams. The position involves significant interaction with stakeholders to ensure reliable and effective reporting practices, ultimately contributing to improved decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end KPI development lifecycle, from business definition through approval and ongoing review.
- Establish reporting standards, governance frameworks and a controlled catalogue of approved KPIs.
- Act as business owner for critical reporting domains, driving data quality, completeness and accuracy.
- Partner with operational, commercial, finance, and health & safety leaders to translate requirements into effective reporting solutions.
- Coordinate dashboard delivery, user adoption, release schedules and reporting change activity.
- Enhance the quality of management information and instill confidence in the decisions it supports.
Requirements
- Experience managing enterprise reporting environments with strong knowledge of KPI design and performance management.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical technical reporting solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across operational and corporate functions.
- Experience with Power BI and modern reporting platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of data governance, stewardship, and ownership principles; data warehouse or data lake experience is desirable.
