Overview
The IAM Programme Manager will lead a new identity and access management initiative within a global private markets firm. This contract role involves working closely with stakeholders to define and implement policies and procedures, as well as to optimize existing tools like SailPoint and Okta. The position focuses on developing a structured approach from a greenfield state, with significant influence in shaping the target operating model alongside a compliance program.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of an identity management program from initial concept to implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish policies, procedures, and a roadmap for the identity function.
- Optimize existing IAM/PAM tools, specifically SailPoint and Okta, to maximize their potential.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather input and build consensus across various teams.
- Define the target state and operating model in a nascent governance environment.
- Manage senior-level relationships to ensure alignment with the broader compliance objectives, including SOC 2.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal engineering teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing IAM and/or PAM programs from inception to completion.
- Strong background in developing roadmaps and creating policy and procedure frameworks.
- Experience in defining target states in environments with limited governance.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, especially with senior leaders.
- Familiarity with SailPoint, Okta, or similar identity governance and administration tools.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is advantageous.
- Availability to start at short notice and work on-site two days per week in London.
