Project Quality Manager

Overview

As a Project Quality Manager for a large-scale offshore wind project, you will be essential in establishing and maintaining the Project Quality Management System. Working closely with the QHSE Manager and the Project Director, you will coordinate quality activities and ensure compliance with contractual quality standards, engaging with both project teams and external stakeholders. Your expertise will guide the successful delivery of quality control measures throughout the project duration.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute Project Quality Plans and procedures according to the company’s Quality Management System.
  • Plan quality audits to assess implementation of the Project Quality Management System.
  • Conduct external audits of vendor and subcontractor quality management systems.
  • Participate in Project Management meetings to align quality with project activities.
  • Promote and enforce contractual quality requirements across the project organization.
  • Support the Project Manager on quality-related matters with clients and authorities.
  • Supervise subcontractors responsible for delivering the works.
  • Manage site non-conformities and implement preventive actions.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Experience within an offshore construction project environment.
  • Strong background in auditing, subcontractor management, and material storage and preservation.
