M&E Project Manager

Overview

The M&E Project Manager will be responsible for managing mechanical and electrical work packages within construction projects. They will work closely with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining project documentation. The role focuses on overseeing risk management and driving quality assurance to meet project deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical and electrical works packages throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee programme details, risk assessments, and documentation to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate communication among stakeholders and lead meetings to ensure clear objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to CDM regulations and maintain site safety standards.
  • Drive quality assurance procedures and ensure commissioning readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project phases.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Relevant electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
  • SMSTS or NVQ Level 6/7 in construction management.
  • Hold a valid CSCS Card.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience in construction management, programme control, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts is advantageous.
