Overview
The Endpoint Provisioning & Microsoft Autopilot Specialist will play a pivotal role in transforming a Windows device provisioning service. This hands-on position involves assessing the current environment, troubleshooting existing processes, and implementing a scalable endpoint solution. The specialist will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver a modern provisioning framework that enhances operational efficiency and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assess and troubleshoot the existing Windows laptop provisioning processes.
- Design and implement a reliable Microsoft Autopilot and Intune deployment solution.
- Build automated, low-touch Windows 11 provisioning processes.
- Configure and optimise Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and compliance policies.
- Resolve issues related to application deployment, device registration, hardware hashes, certificates, and identity integration.
- Improve provisioning performance and introduce operational reporting and governance standards.
- Produce technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to BAU support teams.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Autopilot.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management.
- Strong experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, and device compliance strategies.
- Proficiency in Windows 11 deployment and endpoint automation.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and application packaging.
- Knowledge of SCCM, MECM, MDT, or similar imaging technologies.
- Experience in recovering failing endpoint provisioning services in large enterprise environments.
