Overview
The role of Contract Project Manager - SCADA involves overseeing the redevelopment of a major shore infrastructure project at a sensitive naval site. The selected contractor will work closely with clients and project teams to ensure that technical decisions align with project goals and standards, leveraging their strong SCADA expertise without being involved in hands-on programming tasks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee SCADA-related technical projects across the redevelopment programme.
- Ensure compliance and quality of work from engineering teams.
- Facilitate communication between technical and delivery teams to align project objectives.
- Challenge and guide decision-making processes in project activities.
Requirements
- Strong background in SCADA systems with platform-agnostic expertise.
- Demonstrated experience in project management or technical coordination.
- Familiarity with client-side or consultancy roles.
- Experience in defence, naval, or MOD environments is advantageous.
- BPSS clearance is required, with priority for applicants who already hold it.
