Overview
As a Civil Work Engineer, you will contribute to the design, verification, and quality assurance of civil engineering projects within the energy and infrastructure sectors. Collaborating closely with the Civil and Structural Lead, Project Specialists, and Designers, your role will focus on ensuring compliance with project goals and contractual obligations while supporting environmental sustainability. This position offers an opportunity to engage in innovative engineering practices in a global context.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the achievement of project goals while fulfilling quality and contractual requirements.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Material Take Offs (MTO) for civil works and structures using 3D modeling tools.
- Develop technical documentation for subcontracting engineering activities.
- Create layouts for drainage, sewage, and plumbing systems within buildings.
- Conduct studies for foundations and concrete structures.
- Perform quality checks on all discipline project documents, including vendor documents.
- Verify the structural Building Information Model (BIM) according to OpenBIM practices.
- Supervise and approve engineering design and construction drawings related to civil infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Civil Work Engineer in Oil & Gas and Energy projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- BIM Coordinator certification.
- Proficiency in Eurocode.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Office 365, Excel, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, SP3D, and Navisworks.
