Overview
In this role, the Cloud Engineer will work on the development and management of a SaaS product, focusing on Azure and Terraform. The contractor will collaborate with the development team to improve deployment processes and ensure the reliability of cloud services, all within a fully remote environment for UK-based candidates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure and Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Automate deployment processes for efficiency.
- Document infrastructure configurations and processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
- Familiarity with SaaS product development is a plus.
