Overview
The Commissioning & Systems Completion Lead will oversee the Commissioning process for HVAC, mechanical, electrical, data, BMS, and utility systems on a client-side project. This full-time role requires close collaboration with Principal Contractors, engineering teams, and quality assurance personnel to ensure compliance with regulatory and project-specific standards while monitoring commissioning activities and progress on-site.
Responsibilities
- Review the Principal Contractor's commissioning strategy and execution.
- Monitor commissioning activities for HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Attend meetings to discuss commissioning progress and readiness with the Principal Contractor.
- Collaborate with the project planner to track project schedules and identify potential delays.
- Ensure compliance with design and safety standards through inspections and monitoring.
- Coordinate with the Health, Safety, and Environment Lead on safety practices related to testing.
- Manage documentation and ensure turnover packages are complete for validation teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar regulated environments.
- Proficient in relevant codes, standards, and understanding of Project URS.
- Experience in commissioning HVAC, electrical, data, BMS, and mechanical utilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage CQV and system turnover activities.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality assurance practices.
