Overview
We are looking for an experienced Communications System Engineer with active DV clearance to work full-time onsite in a central London HQ. This senior technical role involves designing and implementing secure collaboration environments within restricted network domains, focusing on cross-domain communications and integrating multi-vendor unified communications solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure compliance with stringent security and information assurance standards while delivering resilient communication architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure cross-domain solutions and multi-level security gateways.
- Enable secure voice, video, and chat communications across isolated network domains.
- Architect and integrate complex, multi-vendor Unified Communications environments.
- Provide interoperability across SIP, H.323, VTC, instant messaging, and presence platforms.
- Develop robust, fault-tolerant, and low-latency communication architectures.
- Ensure compliance with Information Assurance, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead technical direction for engineering teams delivering secure communications solutions.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and security stakeholders for end-to-end solution integrity.
Requirements
- Active DV clearance is a mandatory requirement.
- Extensive experience in Unified Communications and secure communications.
- Proficient in Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS) and security gateways.
- Knowledge of SIP, H.323, VTC, and multi-vendor UC integration.
- Experience in classified or highly secure network environments.
- Strong background in security architecture and Information Assurance.
- Proven ability to design highly available and resilient communication platforms.
- Experience in technical leadership or solution architecture in complex environments, preferably within Defence or National Security sectors.
