Overview
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to take the lead in designing and delivering secure Unified Communications solutions within highly regulated defence environments. The successful contractor will collaborate with technical stakeholders and ensure the integration of enterprise-scale platforms that facilitate secure communication services. This role is essential for enabling secure voice, video, messaging, and collaboration services across complex networks, with a focus on resilience and information assurance.
Responsibilities
- Produce and own High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for Unified Communications solutions.
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure voice, video, and collaboration services aligned to customer requirements.
- Design and deploy secure cross-domain solutions (CDS), guards, and multi-level security (MLS) gateways.
- Define end-to-end technical architectures covering SIP and VoIP services, telephony, and call routing platforms.
- Ensure designs adhere to defence security standards and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- Active DV clearance is required.
- Strong understanding of SIP, VoIP, and call routing.
- Proven experience producing High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Experience delivering enterprise Unified Communications solutions.
- Ability to act as a senior technical point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience managing technical stakeholders and supporting complex project delivery.
- Experience operating within secure, mission-critical or defence environments.
