Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to contribute to our data governance and management initiatives in a Microsoft data environment. In this hands-on role, the analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and stewards to enhance data visibility and governance practices. The position is flexible, allowing for part-time engagement while supporting existing commitments.
Responsibilities
- Support data governance and stewardship initiatives.
- Engage with data owners and business stakeholders.
- Work with Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Purview.
- Configure and maintain data lineage and scanning processes.
- Support data catalogue and metadata management activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, visibility, and understanding.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Purview.
- Proficiency in data lineage and metadata management.
- Familiarity with data catalogues and data governance practices.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in housing or social housing is a plus but not essential.
