Overview
As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in supporting a Microsoft-based transformation program for a specialist defense customer. You will work collaboratively with a delivery team to design and implement effective solutions, focusing on governance and operational processes to establish a strong data management foundation. Your expertise in Microsoft technologies will be vital to delivering practical solutions within a secure operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the initial solution using the existing Microsoft stack.
- Build Power BI dashboards and reporting for enhanced data visibility.
- Configure SharePoint and Jira to improve project workflows and collaboration.
- Develop and enhance operational processes and delivery governance.
- Create an end-to-end operating model tailored to the customer's needs.
- Collaborate with an experienced delivery team to ensure effective project delivery.
Requirements
- Existing DV clearance is essential for this role.
- Strong experience with the Microsoft platform, including Power BI, SharePoint, and Jira.
- Background in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, or Data Engineering.
- Proven expertise in process improvement and operational delivery.
- Experience in defense, government, or complex enterprise environments is advantageous.
- Ability to deliver practical solutions rather than just documentation.
