Overview
The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in scaling cloud infrastructure and improving deployment processes for a dynamic technology company. Working in a hybrid capacity, the successful candidate will collaborate with engineering teams to enhance operational capabilities and drive best practices in cloud operations and platform engineering during a critical growth phase.
Responsibilities
- Assess and improve existing GCP cloud architecture.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Build monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational resilience.
- Implement cloud security best practices across infrastructure and deployments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Support engineering teams with platform strategy and operational improvements.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting tools.
- Strong cloud security and operational best practice experience.
- Experience supporting and scaling production environments.
- Familiarity with Python and FastAPI is beneficial.
