Digital Performance Marketer

Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Performance Marketer to join a growing international organization on a contract basis. The contractor will take ownership of SEO and paid search activities to optimize digital performance across various international markets, working collaboratively with the marketing team to drive campaign performance and support growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Audit, refine, and execute SEO and paid search strategies across multiple international markets.
  • Manage and optimize Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns to maximize return on investment.
  • Oversee external PPC agencies, ensuring campaign performance meets agreed objectives and best practice standards.
  • Analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Monitor key marketing KPIs and produce insightful reporting to support business decisions.
  • Develop and document SEO and paid search best practices for wider marketing teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to regional marketing teams, helping optimize local campaigns and websites.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops to improve digital marketing capability across the business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in digital performance marketing with a strong track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Strong expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword research, content strategy, and link building.
  • Experience optimizing content for AI-driven search and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns.
  • Previous experience managing external PPC agencies or digital marketing partners.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Experience using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and website optimization platforms.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with additional language skills in German, Dutch, or French preferred.
