Overview
The Dynamics Financials Consultant will support the configuration and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across the organization. This role involves migrating financial and operational data from Dynamics GP and ensuring the platform meets the business's operational needs by working closely with stakeholders. The consultant will also provide training and ongoing support to end users to facilitate successful adoption of the new system.
Responsibilities
- Support the configuration and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Lead and assist in the migration of financial and operational data from Dynamics GP.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and configure the platform accordingly.
- Assist with testing activities, including system testing, UAT, and defect resolution.
- Deliver end-user training and create necessary documentation.
- Provide post-go-live support to ensure successful system adoption.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV implementations.
- Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics Financials, including GL, AP, AR, purchasing, and reporting processes.
- Experience migrating data from Dynamics GP into Business Central or similar ERP systems.
- Familiarity with configuring ERP systems and managing UAT and go-live activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, especially in training end users.
