Overview
As an Interim FP&A Manager, you will play a crucial role in a rapidly scaling infrastructure business, focusing on enhancing financial planning and analysis activities. Collaborating with senior finance and operational stakeholders, you will provide in-depth analysis, improve forecasting capabilities, and support strategic decision-making. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact commercial insights and financial outcomes while working in a hybrid arrangement with a dynamic finance team.
Responsibilities
- Own the budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes, ensuring clarity and robustness of assumptions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
- Produce insightful management reporting and performance analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Partner with operational teams to understand performance and challenge existing assumptions.
- Work with large datasets to enhance data quality and generate commercially relevant insights.
- Improve reporting tools and processes for greater transparency across the business.
- Support senior finance stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis and decision support activities.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation for enhancing FP&A efficiency.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with 3-4 years of post-qualified experience.
- Strong background in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Proficient in analyzing large and complex datasets with advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated business partnering experience with operational and non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable using technology and AI tools, with a focus on efficiency improvements.
- Ambitious and proactive, capable of taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in high-growth, investor-backed, or infrastructure businesses is a plus.
