Overview
We are seeking a skilled Front End Engineer with a strong background in React and TypeScript to join a dynamic AI start-up. In this fully remote position, you will collaborate closely with the founders and engineering team to develop engaging and user-friendly applications that integrate advanced AI capabilities. Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build intuitive, responsive and visually engaging user interfaces.
- Translate product requirements and design concepts into seamless user experiences.
- Work directly with founders and engineers to shape product features and technical direction.
- Integrate front-end applications with APIs, AI services and backend systems.
- Contribute to front-end architecture, reusable components and coding standards.
- Optimise application performance, accessibility and responsiveness.
- Take ownership of features from concept through to delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience in front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern web application frameworks.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
- Experience building maintainable and scalable front-end applications.
- Previous experience with AI-powered products or SaaS platforms is a plus.
