Overview
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong background in building, automating, and operating production AWS environments, particularly with a focus on AI and machine learning workloads. The contractor will collaborate with teams to enhance infrastructure, optimize deployments, and support AI/ML initiatives in a fully remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Build and automate production AWS environments for AI/ML applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
- Utilize Docker and container orchestration platforms like EKS or ECS.
- Script automation processes using Python or Bash.
- Ensure AWS security, networking, and monitoring best practices are followed.
- Support the deployment of AI/ML workloads, leveraging tools like SageMaker or Amazon Bedrock.
- Engage in customer-facing activities, especially in fintech-related projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
- Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (EKS/Kubernetes or ECS).
- Experience in scripting with Python and/or Bash.
- Familiarity with AWS security practices and monitoring solutions.
- Practical knowledge of deploying or supporting AI/ML workloads in production.
- Exposure to MLOps and AI technologies such as Generative AI.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, particularly within the fintech sector.
