Overview
We are seeking a Process Intelligence Consultant for a contract position focused on enhancing our clients' operational efficiencies through process-mining and data analysis. The consultant will work remotely, collaborating closely with professional services clients, data engineers, and process experts to identify critical business questions and deliver actionable recommendations. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive significant improvements in client operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytical investigations by identifying business questions and formulating hypotheses.
- Work directly in process-mining tools to build analytical models and write queries.
- Investigate process variants, delays, rework, handovers, and exceptions to enhance data analysis.
- Connect data to business behavior to understand performance differences across teams.
- Collaborate with clients and data engineers to define data requirements and validate process models.
- Develop recommendations and business cases that quantify improvement opportunities.
- Measure results to track benefits and contribute to process simulation work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in process-mining consulting delivery and operational data analysis.
- Strong business consulting skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems.
- Hands-on expertise with tools such as Celonis, QPR ProcessAnalyzer, or SAP Signavio.
- Strong SQL capabilities and practical experience with Python for data manipulation.
- Deep understanding of process modeling, data quality, and event definitions.
- Able to connect analytical findings to business outcomes with commercial judgement.
- Experience facilitating workshops and presenting to C-Suite stakeholders.
