Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a 2-year contract within a major public sector data programme. This remote-first role focuses on analyzing and validating large datasets in GCP, ensuring data accuracy and integrity while collaborating with GCP development, database, project management, and business teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate large volumes of data in GCP.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across the platform.
- Collaborate with development, database, and project management teams.
- Process and query large datasets using GCP tools.
- Perform data cleaning and ingestion.
- Model and audit data lineage.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Extensive data analysis experience with large datasets.
- Proficiency in GCP, including BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
- Experience with data ingestion, cleansing, processing, and querying.
- Knowledge of data lineage, modeling, auditing, and integrity.
- Proficiency in Python or R.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Active SC clearance with UKSV confirmation required.
- Immediate availability to start.
