Overview
The Head of Cyber Security will lead and enhance the security posture of a dynamic, AI-driven digital consumer business, reporting to the Director of IT & Cyber Security. This role involves a blend of technical ownership and strategic influence, with responsibilities encompassing compliance, audit leadership, and executive engagement. The individual will play a pivotal role in maintaining the security integrity of high-traffic platforms serving millions of users globally.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Group's overall security posture operationally and strategically.
- Lead the implementation and management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Oversee compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 and lead certification processes.
- Ensure adherence to PCI DSS standards and manage external audits.
- Advise and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, on security matters.
- Manage and mentor security teams to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Develop and implement incident response and vulnerability management protocols.
- Drive cloud and application security initiatives within the organization.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in cloud and application security, security operations, and incident response.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading ISO/IEC 27001 certification processes and managing ISMS.
- Experience managing PCI DSS compliance and successful audit outcomes.
- Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders at the executive level.
- Track record of senior security leadership with direct management responsibilities.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are required.
- Experience in a regulated industry is advantageous.
- Cloud security certification is a plus.
