Overview
As the Head of Data Platforms Engineering, you will spearhead the transformation of data platforms and analytics engineering within a leading fintech firm. Collaborating closely with senior and staff engineers, you will drive a shift towards a more agile and empowered engineering function while ensuring effective implementation of the strategic vision. This role requires strong leadership skills, a structured and results-oriented approach, and a proven track record of facilitating organizational change and enhancing team performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of a new approach to data platforms and analytics engineering.

Requirements
- Proven experience in leading and transforming data engineering functions.
- Strong leadership and organizational change management skills.
- Expertise in creating agile processes and empowering engineering teams.
- Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake, Omni, and Databricks.
- Demonstrated ability to drive tangible results and outcomes in a technology-driven environment.
- Experience with analytics tools is beneficial but secondary to delivering effective team functions.
