Overview
As the Head of Information Technology, you will lead the IT function in a rapidly growing and autonomous organization within the Defence industry. You will provide strategic leadership in developing and executing the IT strategy, ensuring effective IT operations and service delivery, while driving digital transformation and security initiatives. This role requires collaboration with senior stakeholders and the management of IT budgets and teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the organization's IT strategy and operations.
- Oversee IT service delivery, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and end-user computing.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity, risk and vulnerability protocols.
- Drive digital transformation and technology innovation initiatives.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, supplier relationships, and contracts.
- Lead, develop, and grow the IT team to meet organizational goals.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior IT leadership roles within the Defence industry preferred.
- Strong track record in IT strategy development and transformation.
- Experience managing technical teams and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud services and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Knowledge of ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or CCNA certifications is beneficial.
- Ability to effectively manage IT budgets and supplier contracts.
- Experience in guiding digital transformation initiatives across an organization.
