Overview
We are looking for an experienced M365 Infrastructure Engineer to support a critical programme involving mergers, acquisitions, and divestments. The contractor will play a key role in integrating newly acquired businesses into existing Microsoft 365 environments while ensuring seamless transitions for users, systems, and collaboration platforms. This position requires nationwide travel to support ongoing projects across various locations in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Lead Microsoft 365 integration activities during mergers and acquisitions.
- Deliver tenant-to-tenant migrations across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Manage identity consolidation using Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and hybrid environments.
- Support carve-outs, business separations, and divestiture projects.
- Design and implement Microsoft 365 infrastructure solutions across multiple acquired entities.
- Manage user onboarding, domain migrations, licensing, and security configurations.
- Implement Intune, Conditional Access, MFA, and device management solutions.
- Provide 3rd Line support and technical leadership throughout programme delivery.
Requirements
- Significant Microsoft 365 engineering experience.
- Proven delivery of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), integrations, and carve-out projects.
- Tenant-to-tenant migration expertise.
- Experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive administration.
- Knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
- Experience with Intune, Endpoint Manager, and device migrations.
- Skill in PowerShell automation and scripting.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
