Overview
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer for an initial six-month contract, offering a hands-on opportunity within a global organization. In this hybrid role, the contractor will work three days in the office and two days remotely, focusing on general infrastructure support and various technical projects, including migrations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a team of IT professionals, leveraging expertise in virtualization, networking, and cloud services to enhance the organization's infrastructure capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide general infrastructure support and maintenance.
- Administer and troubleshoot virtualization environments using Hyper-V and VMware.
- Manage and configure network infrastructure, including Meraki systems.
- Administer core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Oversee cloud services, including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Manage storage solutions including SAN, NAS, and DAS systems.
- Facilitate infrastructure migration projects and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and optimize performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware administration.
- Experience with Meraki and network infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration.
- Experience with storage solutions including Dell EMC and NetApp.
- Familiarity with the ManageEngine product suite is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexibly in a hybrid model, attending the office three days a week.
