Overview
The Infrastructure Engineer will take ownership of a cloud-focused infrastructure estate, primarily working with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and third-party cloud providers to enhance service and support, while proactively managing cloud infrastructure and addressing technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Manage the deployment and ongoing operation of cloud infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Improve infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
- Manage and enhance Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Strengthen vulnerability management and reduce remediation times.
- Provide technical support and guidance on infrastructure-related issues.
- Collaborate with third-party cloud providers to improve service and support.
- Stay updated with cloud and infrastructure technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Entra ID, and Windows Server.
- Expertise in designing scalable IAM solutions, including RBAC and access recertification.
- Experience across Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Intune, and SharePoint Online.
- Proficient in scripting, ideally with PowerShell.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical problems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
