Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead / Technical Architect to play a vital role in shaping the digital and customer technology landscape for a prominent international organization. In this senior, hands-on position, the contractor will collaborate closely with product teams and technology leadership, focusing on architecture strategy, engineering principles, and ensuring solutions are scalable and cloud-first. This role provides an opportunity to influence technology decisions across large-scale, consumer-facing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technology strategy for ecommerce platforms.
- Define architectural guidelines and engineering principles for digital solutions.
- Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to shape technology direction.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and adhere to cloud-first principles.
- Oversee the technical roadmap and make key architecture decisions.
- Engage with third-party engineering partners and vendors to challenge and improve solutions.
- Remain technically hands-on while contributing to strategic initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships across senior leadership and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital and customer platform architecture.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Sitecore, particularly modern and headless implementations.
- Strong knowledge of modern web technologies including .NET, React, and Next.js.
- Experience with Azure and cloud infrastructure management.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
- Proven ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders at a senior level.
- Previous experience shaping technical roadmaps and making critical architecture decisions.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on technical involvement.
