Overview
We are seeking an experienced IAM & SSO Engineer for a fully remote, initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. In this hands-on role, the contractor will support the management and optimization of identity and access services, focusing on Microsoft Entra ID and various SSO integrations. The engineer will work collaboratively to ensure secure user access across Microsoft and Google environments, while contributing to the development of automation scripts and technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access and Intune integrations.
- Configure and troubleshoot SSO solutions using SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.
- Manage Google Workspace administration and SAML applications.
- Develop PowerShell scripts and utilize Microsoft Graph API for automation and reporting.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and DNS configurations.
- Support SSO integrations with SaaS platforms like Salesforce and Atlassian.
- Manage Azure service principals and application registrations.
- Produce technical documentation including runbooks and handover materials.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Proficient in SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0 protocols.
- Experience with enterprise SSO integrations and managing SaaS access.
- Google Workspace Super Admin experience is required.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills with Microsoft Graph API knowledge.
- Experience in managing certificates, DNS records, and Azure identity services.
- Desirable: Experience in domain or tenant migration projects.
- Familiarity with monitoring and security tools like Datadog or Rapid7 InsightIDR is a plus.
