Overview
The IAM Engineer will play a vital role in the management and optimization of enterprise identity and access services, primarily focusing on Microsoft Entra ID and SSO integrations. In this hands-on position, the contractor will collaborate with various teams to ensure secure and efficient authentication technologies and SaaS identity management across the organization. The role will be fully remote and offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to identity solutions within both Microsoft and Google environments.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access and Intune integrations.
- Configure and troubleshoot SSO solutions using SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.
- Manage Google Workspace administration, including SAML apps and OAuth applications.
- Develop PowerShell scripts and utilize Microsoft Graph API for automation and reporting.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and DNS configurations, including MX and CNAME records.
- Support SSO integrations with various SaaS platforms such as Salesforce and Atlassian.
- Manage Azure service principals, application registrations, and managed identities.
- Produce technical documentation, including runbooks and handover materials.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Strong understanding of SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0 authentication protocols.
- Experience managing enterprise SSO integrations and SaaS application access.
- Google Workspace Super Admin experience.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills and experience with Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience managing certificates, DNS records, and Azure identity services.
- Familiarity with tools such as Datadog and Rapid7 InsightIDR is desirable.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
