Overview
We are seeking experienced IBM DataStage Engineers to support a major data transformation program focused on migrating and modernizing enterprise data platforms. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, support, and maintain ETL solutions within a complex data landscape, significantly contributing to a large-scale data migration project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.
- Support data migration initiatives from large scale data warehouse environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data transformation.
- Implement data integration processes and optimize SQL queries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data migration issues as they arise.
- Document processes and maintain technical specifications for ETL workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IBM DataStage ETL development, support, and maintenance.
- Strong SQL development skills with a focus on data manipulation and extraction.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory for data integration projects.
- Hands-on involvement in large scale data migration projects is essential.
- Desirable experience with Netezza data warehousing.
- Familiarity with Cognos reporting tools is a plus.
