Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The contractor will design and deliver comprehensive data migration solutions, primarily focusing on migrating large datasets into Snowflake from various source systems. Working in a hybrid model, they will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders to optimize Snowflake performance and ensure data integrity throughout the migration process.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end data migration solutions.
- Migrate large datasets into Snowflake from multiple source systems.
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to support migration activities.
- Validate migrated data and ensure data integrity.
- Optimize Snowflake performance and data models.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot migration issues and support production deployments.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Snowflake.
- Experience delivering enterprise data migration projects.
- SQL expertise.
- ETL/ELT development experience.
