Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant specializing in Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access solutions. This contract position involves comprehensive hands-on delivery of Prisma Access implementations across complex environments for a major enterprise security program. The consultant will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Prisma Access, collaborating closely with other technical teams to ensure secure and efficient operations in enterprise settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end Prisma Access implementations, including service infrastructure and connections.
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot GlobalProtect environments.
- Build and manage security policies utilizing App-ID, User-ID, URL Filtering, and Threat Prevention.
- Configure and troubleshoot IPsec VPNs and enterprise routing connectivity.
- Support the migration from legacy VPN, firewall, and MPLS environments to Prisma Access.
- Oversee identity integrations with Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, and SCIM.
- Configure and troubleshoot TLS/SSL decryption processes.
- Produce technical documentation such as HLDs, LLDs, runbooks, and as-built documentation.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access.
- Strong skills in GlobalProtect, service connections, and mobile user onboarding.
- Proficient in configuring App-ID, User-ID, and managing security policies.
- Experience with IPsec VPN, BGP, OSPF, and enterprise routing.
- Background in firewall and network security migrations.
- Familiarity with TLS/SSL decryption and SASE/SSE/Zero Trust concepts.
- Ability to produce high and low-level design documentation effectively.
- Previous experience working within large enterprise or Professional Services environments is desirable.
