Overview
We are seeking an experienced IFS Test Lead to oversee the testing strategy and delivery for an IFS ERP transformation programme. This role will involve close collaboration with various business and technical stakeholders to ensure the IFS solution is robustly tested and ready for deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IFS testing and will play a pivotal role in managing multiple aspects of the testing process during this significant project.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end testing strategy for the IFS implementation programme.
- Develop and manage test plans, scenarios, scripts, and schedules.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Collaborate with IFS functional, technical, and business teams to define testing requirements.
- Manage defect identification, triage, prioritisation, and resolution.
- Coordinate testing resources, including internal teams and implementation partners.
- Provide regular reports on testing progress, risks, issues, and readiness.
- Establish and maintain testing standards, processes, and governance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IFS Test Lead or Test Manager within an IFS ERP environment.
- Strong understanding of SIT, UAT, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience managing testing across complex ERP transformation programmes.
- Excellent defect management and test governance skills.
- Ability to work effectively with project managers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with implementation partners and third-party integrations.
- Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Desirable experience with IFS Cloud implementations and multiple IFS modules.
