Overview
We are seeking an experienced Integration Technical Analyst for a three-month remote contract, with occasional travel to High Wycombe. The successful candidate will work closely with business subject matter experts and technical teams to streamline data integrations between enterprise systems, ensuring clear communication of requirements and specifications. The role emphasizes a balance between business analysis and technical integration knowledge, catering primarily to the needs of the higher education sector.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and interviews with business SMEs, product owners, and technical teams.
- Elicit and document functional and non-functional integration requirements.
- Translate business requirements into implementation-ready user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Document end-to-end integration flows and define interface requirements.
- Produce detailed source-to-target mappings and define event/message behavior.
- Support test preparation and assist with defect triage related to requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in integration analysis within a technical context.
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation and writing detailed user stories.
- Experience in producing source-to-target data mappings and defining transformation rules.
- Familiarity with asynchronous and synchronous integration patterns.
- Understanding of APIs, database structures, and integration interfaces.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders effectively.
