Interim Deal Support Manager

Overview

The Interim Deal Support Manager will play a crucial role in managing the execution of multiple transactions within a private equity-backed asset management business. Collaborating closely with the CFO, senior leadership, and external transaction advisers, this individual will ensure effective management of deal workstreams throughout the entire transaction lifecycle. This position is ideal for a deals professional seeking a more hands-on, in-house role, where they can leverage their transaction services experience to drive efficient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of multiple live transactions and deal workstreams.
  • Coordinate financial, commercial, operational and other transaction workstreams.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout the deal process.
  • Support due diligence, including preparation, analysis and management of information requests.
  • Review and challenge transaction analysis, financial information and key deal assumptions.
  • Coordinate data rooms, transaction materials and reporting.
  • Track key milestones, risks, dependencies and actions across multiple deals.
  • Support the preparation of management presentations, board materials and transaction updates.

Requirements

  • Strong background in Transaction Services, Deals, M&A or Corporate Finance, ideally from a Big 4 or leading advisory firm.
  • Experience supporting or executing multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial due diligence and the wider transaction lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and competing deadlines.
  • Able to operate effectively with senior management and external advisers.
  • Asset management, private equity or financial services experience highly desirable.
  • Pragmatic, hands-on and commercially minded, with a strong focus on delivery.
