Overview
We are seeking a Freelance Interior Architect to join a prominent design studio, focusing on high-end residential projects. This role, suitable for mid to senior-level candidates, involves collaborating with project teams to produce and deliver comprehensive technical drawing packages that reflect exceptional interior design standards. The successful individual will leverage their expertise to ensure the accuracy and quality of design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Produce and deliver detailed technical drawing packages for high-end residential projects.
- Develop and coordinate interior architecture drawings from design development through to technical delivery.
- Use AutoCAD to produce accurate plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings.
- Work closely with interior designers, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure effective design coordination.
- Ensure all drawings and documentation meet project requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Resolve technical design challenges while maintaining the integrity of the original design intent.
- Manage workloads effectively and contribute to the successful delivery of multiple project stages where required.
Requirements
- Experience as an Interior Architect at Midweight to Senior level.
- Demonstrable experience delivering drawing packages for high-end residential projects.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency is essential.
- Excellent technical detailing and construction drawing skills.
- A strong understanding of interior architecture, materials, finishes, and residential detailing.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with project teams.
